Hi. Up for grabs is my California born. black plate 1962 Chevy Belair Wagon. This could quite possibly be one of the coolest wagons on the web for sale right now. Below I will try and describe exactly what I see and know about this car. Starting With The Outside: A few yr old pretty nice 2 stage paint job sprayed over a laser straight body. There are a few blemishes and a couple paint touch ups here and there but definitely nothing that takes away from this car. All the front. rear and side stainless on the outside is what I'd consider in very good to great condition. All the glass on this car is in also great shape with no visible cracks or flaws. Rear window is manual and goes up and down with no problems. The bumpers are California 1 piece bumpers that have been re-chromed at 1 time and still look great. Now for the new stuff. All outside door handles. both outside mirrors. headlight bezels. parking lamp lenses. front fender emblems. f&r license plate frames and taillight lenses. Car has the very rare and original metal fender skirts painted to match. All headlights. tail lights. and turn signals work as they should. Inside: The interior on this car is very nice and clean with lots of extras. There's newer foam and seat covers. armrest bases and pads. all window cranks. inner door handles. rearview mirror. door sill plates. column shift lever. turn signal lever. all pedal covers. Chevy floor mats. chrome door lock knobs . chrome 3 pod guages. and all new rubbers and weather strips. Carpet and headliner aren't new but both are still in great shape. It has a nice Sony CD player and Pioneer door speakers and is wired for amps and subs. Dash lights and turn signals both work as they should. Top dome lamp lense works fine but manually. Door switch not hooked up but will be included. This is also a factory air conditioning car. head unit control and 1 vent is hooked up. the other will be included. An original tissue box and compass to top off the interior are installed. There's One rip on the top of the driver’s seat. not big but is there. maybe about 3 inches squared. Motor & Transmission: This car is powered by a real strong running 327. I'm not sure of the miles but I will tell you this. you can hop in and drive whenever or wherever you want. very reliable! Engine compartment is pretty clean actually. It comes equipped with an HEI distributor. Edlebrock carburetor. polished intake. polished headers. polished wire looms. Chrome Spectre aircleaner. chrome valve covers. chrome water pump. chrome radiator cap. chrome alternator and bracket. new battery and terminals. new hood insulation. spark plugs. new hoses and belts. new antifreeze bottle and a powder coated fan shroud. Like I mentioned earlier this is a factory air car. Looks like some of the stuff is there but needs a compressor and bracket and maybe a few other things. Factory power steering car also. Everything is there and I purchased all new hoses and a slave arm but needs to be installed. This car turns with ease already. no big need for the parts really but will be included with sale. Transmission is a turbo 350 that shifts great with no hesitation. Overall. strong running motor and transmission. Suspension & Rims and Tires: Suspension is uncut and has never been altered or modified for hydraulics or airride. Recently installed new front springs and rear air shocks. Tires are almost new 14inch Remington Cushion Aire wide whites. Rims are rattle canned black and topped off with a clean set of 62 Impala hubcaps. It has dual exhaust with chrome tips coming out the sides. Above I've tried to be thorough as possible when describing exactly what I see and know and about this car.
