FACTS about this car:

Acquired in the early-to-mid-1980s, by its second owner, Mr. Clyde D. Pemberton, Jr.,(now deceased) the car has been garaged and "lived" in Fort Worth, Texas' climate since that time of his original purchase in the 1980s.

The speedometer mileage is not accurate, having been inoperable for a number of years. The car has probably some 100,000+ actual miles showing on the odometer on it. No one knows.

Since Mr. Pemberton's death at the age of 96, in late 2015, the car needed considerable maintenance in mid-2018 because it had not been driven over that time. Fluid changes, new gasoline, hose repairs, two new tires, ball joints replaced and a complete carburetor overhaul were just a few of the maintenance items attended.

After the shop repairs by Rick & Ray's Auto Plaza in Fort Worth, the El Camino was road worthy and made an appearance in the Fort Worth neighborhood of Ryan Place's 2018 July 4th Parade . (see The Ryan Place Fort Worth web site - newsletter ONLINE extra for July-August 2018 )

STATE OF TEXAS sales tax on automobiles = 6.25% which will be additional to the purchase price of the vehicle.
