1948 Chevrolet Truck, Thriftmaster, Stake Bed, 1 Ton, 3600, with 3/4 ton front axle and dual real axle, had spit rims all the way around when I purchased it, original split rim duel axle removed for updated dual axle and standard rims. Odometer reads 47142, as it has since I have owned it and I have not hooked it back up, actual unknown, although it was a farm truck from Kentucky, so that might not be far off? Removable stake bed sides, new paint, new wood in bed, glass, new upholstery, new complete wiring and 12 volt conversion, alternator, battery, starter, brakes, original starter pedal and 4 speed floor shift transmission. Hitch Tube and brake controller added for towing. Runs and drives excellent, drawls a lot of attention at car shows and basically anywhere you drive or park it.
