1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible Time Capsule This is what I believe is an all original 1989 Camaro RS convertible with only 30,000 original miles. The title will confirm this. It is getting harder and harder to find them in this original, unmolested condition. The paint is in good condition with just a few rock chips/scratches that have been touched up by a previous owner. They are minor, but they are there if you look real close. There is no rust. The underneath side is just as clean as the top side. The convertible top is in good shape, doesn't leak and works great. The interior is in great shape. The items that usually deteriorate first are in good shape. The dash pad, center console and seat belt sleeves are not cracked. Carpet and floor mats are in good shape. It has all the original equipment including the radio that works. The air conditioner works great, and I had it converted to 134A. The car has power windows and locks and everything works as it should. It has a 305 V-8 engine that runs well. It also has an automatic transmission that shifts like it should. With only 30,000 miles, the car is still tight and rides smooth. The tires are in like new condition. This is a stripe delete car (DX3). This car is in great shape. It looks good and runs good. It literally needs nothing. How often do you come across a car that is almost 30 years old and has 30K miles and is in great condition? If you ever wanted a third generation Camaro and could never make it happen, here is your chance. I would love for this to go to someone who will appreciate it.
