Only 3,000 miles since. EXTERIOR: All new blue tinted side glass and windshield. New BFG tires and custom wheels. The chrome front and back looks new. Stainless trim down the sides, around the roof, front and back windows look new. Door handles and chrome side window frames show some... age. Older body and paint restoration that shows well. The desirable hardtop has no pillar. INTERIOR: It was reupholstered by previous owner. Recently it has new carpet with sound and heat insulation. Shifter was moved to the floor. The entire car was rewired. Dash area was restored. Has full set of Dakota Digital gauges and clock. Retro stereo fits right in the factory hole, has kick panel speakers. New heat and air conditioning controls has original appearance. The metal dash is painted gloss white, new aluminum insert. Has a polished wood GT steering wheel. Has seatbelts front and back. 3rd brake light and turnsignals are mounted at top edge of back seat. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: New 383 stroker motor with 4 bolt mains. Has ported and polished heads with 10.3:1 compression. On top is an Edelbrock intake, 600 cfm Holley carb and HEI ignition. New Griffin 6 gallon aluminum radiator with trans cooler, overflow bottle and dual electric fans. New air conditioning system was installed. New power brake booster with dual reservoir. Dressed up with a matched set of Edelbrock aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. New horns. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's solid. Has carpet mat, a functional jack and spare with new tire. Battery is relocated to the trunk. Car cover is included. UNDERSIDE: Up front the suspension and steering is rebuilt. Upgraded to disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. New springs, shocks and steering box. In back it has Ford 9 inch rear with Chevy bolt pattern, new leaf springs and shocks. Bottom of motor is spotless, has high torque starter. Performance built Turbo 400 trans and custom drive shaft and u-joints. Has a fat Flowmaster exhaust system. The floors were restored with replacement metal floor pans. E-brake system is hooked up. The 57 Chevy is probably the most iconic car ever. A 2 door Bel Air hardtop is very desirable. This one has all the right stuff to make it a fantastic driver.
