Our car of many years is now being offered for sale. Purchased in 1976, always garaged, never smoked in, never drag raced etc. We had it restored in 2013-14 and entered it into an NCRS judging venue and was awarded a Blue Ribbon (see photo). The paint earned ZERO deductions, which is unusual. Trophy Blue was offered by GM only one year (1966) and only on one model (Corvette). The production that year of 27,720 cars had 1,463 painted this color. Only 7,591 had the 350 horsepower option. If this were on one of the TV auctions it would be called a "numbers matching car". Interior is original except for the headliner and the carpet (replaced in the 70's).
We are technically the 3rd owner. The first was a lady who had it for a very short time, and then the man who we purchased the car from in 1976. Several pieces of original paperwork is in the glove box including the window sticker, sales receipt, radio tag, etc.
