Excellent project truck for the dedicated Chevy owner. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle which I purchased in while living in California. It has been a workhorse and still has a STRONG ENGINE that was rebuilt in 1983. I have downloaded a short video at YOU TUBE Tochihara 1964 283 engine MV106481 The oil has been changed faithfully for all these years and the oil pressure is excellent I have personally driven this truck when I moved to Oregon in 1998 and driven it to Montana where I have resided since 2008. The clutch was replaced in 2011 and a new radiator in 2013. The drive shaft and rear end are solid. I still drive the vehicle for my landscape business here in Montana and I have had numerous parties wondering if I would be willing to sell it. I had plans of restoring it at one time but honestly I am not that mechanically savvy to do it right. The vehicle needs someone who can really do the truck justice and restore it correctlyThe body is very straight except for a dent on passenger side of truck bed. The doors and glass are all in tact even the rear window is original. The windshield wiper motor still works. The bed flooring has plywood covering the original wood floor. Tires are in great shape mounted on 16 inch rims. This truck is drive able as is and I am confident it can make a road trip to its new home. THESE ITEMS LISTED NEED TO BE ADDRESSED GAS TANK. REWIRING OF TURN SIGNALS . HEATER. SEAT. DASH BOARD GAUGES. PAINT. MIRRORS . HEEL BEARINGS. BRAKES . EXHAUST SYSTEM.
