Up for bid is a 1978 Chevy C10 Stepside. The truck has been in the family since it was purchased new. The truck was used by my father as a work/ towing vehicle. It is currently on its 3rd motor. 2nd paint job and 2nd transmission. I took ownership of the vehicle in high school and did the typical teenager thing. I replaced the 350 with a 383. put on Edelbrock headers. Edelbrock intake. Edelbrock 4jet carb. MSD ignition. exhaust with a flow master muffler. new stall converter. shift kit. lowered the truck 4/6in. . new wheels/ tires. replaced the wooden bed and installed a new stereo. Items to work on- I removed the AC system. I do not have the parts. The header core was leaking. so I pulled all the components. I still have all the pieces. I was going to patch the firewall with sheet metal. This truck is old and needs work. There is various dings and scratches. It has some rust below the windshield and on the front of the hood. But for the most part. she is a very good California truck. The truck has been "non-op" since about 2002ish. But has been driven and started ever since. It has not been smog tested and I do not plan on getting it done. It has all the necessary parts to go thru a California smog check.
