REDUCED PRICE FROM $8,500. to $6,500. For sale is a 1966 Chevy Custom truck Shortbed 4x4. Not a an original K10. bbbut also not a cut up long bed. It was an amateur paint job without fixing any dents so it looks wavy and paint was never buffed. it is a beautiful blue metelic. But lets not kid ourselves we know how much this trucks are worth. The guy that did the workisa 30 plus year mecanic so it was built right.It is sitting on a 1996 frame that is completely rust free. This truck has front disc brakes and drum in the back and stops great, power steeringhas all the modern goodies that a 96 chevy truck would have. Computer, steering. the 96 cluster is inside factory dash cluster. A/C unit is there and blows needs compressor,evaperator and odds and end to work but the hard work is done.now you have the best of both worldsmodern frame and classic body if your thinking why don't I just getan original 1966 chevy K10 good luck. There were very little made. Theybuild less then 700 in 1966.Doors are in great shape. Theyopen and close great and are not hanging like iv seen others this age do and windows go up and down like they should and vent windows open and lock good. The whole drivetrain is from the 96 Chevy truck.The truck does have little rust around the truck normal for those ages. Has rust in the lower rocker panels but the cab floor is in good shape. But around the windows inside and outside androof is in great shape, Doors open and close like they should, New battery, 1961 chevy chrome grill,I will include the original 1966 grill. New gas tank and sending unit but the gas gauge is not working can be a ground problem. Aluminum radiator. Runs, shift, stops great. The motor is tired and has a lot of miles. I would recommend replacing ASAP. But it still runs and doesn't smoke. The tags are expired. It has a really nice modern radio and nice speakers and sounds good. Has real good Black carpet inside including the kick panels. 4x4 works good. Overall a nice little project.This truck was a regular daily driver until 2 years ago when anew truck was bought for the kido going to college. Truck is sold as is no warranty buyer is responsible for shipping costs but I can assist. Please send someone to inspect or inspect yourself before buying.
