. This is a 23K mile, one family owned, all original unrestored survivor. It is in excellent condition and shows very little wear. It has always been stored inside, covered and dry. It has new tires and a new battery. It comes with the original build sheet that was found under the passenger seat, the original Indy 500 Pace Car Edition decals, a rare ‘82 Indy 500 Pace Car official Media packet filled with photos and press release info, an ‘82 Indy 500 official race program, an ‘82 Indy 500 Pace Car trading card and a real official ‘82 Indy 500 pit pass. It also comes with a full car cover, the original floor mats, the original T-Top case, rear window louvers, the original owners manual with some original documents and a service manual. Options include the original 305 CFI (Cross-Fire Injection) engine and automatic transmission, front power disc brakes, cruise control, A/C, AM-FM-Cassette, console clock, T-Tops and of course the Indy 500 Pace Car package. Chevrolet only built around 6000 of these Pace Car Editions for the public in 1982. This one was sold new in Iowa and was always garaged and only driven on nice Summer days. The only reason this car has become available is because the original family owner is near retirement and was in need of more garage space so he decided it was time to let this beautiful car go.
