Description of 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

This 1986 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was acquired by us from the original owner earlier this year and now shows just under 6k miles. The car is finished in Dark Red over Saddle leather upholstery and powered by a 5.7-liter V8 backed by a Doug Nash four-speed manual transmission with push-button overdrive. A targa top, halogen fog lamps, air conditioning, power-adjustable sport seats, a digital instrument display, and the Z51 Performance Handling Package are featured.
The exterior is finished in Dark Red metallic (74) and features a targa top, halogen fog lamps, power-adjustable mirrors, and retractable headlights that are shown raised in the photo gallery below.
Factory 16" turbine wheels are shod in 255/50 Goodyear Eagle VR50 tires and are original to the car. The equipped Z51 Performance Handling Package provides gas-charged Delco/Bilstein shocks, higher-rated monoleaf fiberglass springs, stabilizer bars, and quicker steering gear.
The Saddle leather interior features sport seats with six-way power adjustment on the driver's side. Power mirrors and locks, a Delco/Bose AM/FM/cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning with digital temperature control are included. The air conditioning does not blow cold and the power antenna is inoperative.
The 5.7L V8 is mated to a Doug Nash "4+3" manual transmission that provides push-button overdrive for the top three gears. A heavy-duty radiator, engine oil cooler, and auxiliary cooling fan are equipped as part of the Z51 Performance Handling Package. A full service was just done that included new spark plugs, fuel and air filters, a battery, and an oil-pressure sender as well as a coolant flush and an oil change.
