Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1963

Selling a very RARE, Original, 1963 Corvette Convertible Survivor, with RARE Factory Air Conditioning, and the Born With, All Original, Matching #s Motor, Transmission, and Rear End. -1963 was the first year of FactoryAir Conditioningin a Corvette, and was introduced at the end of the production year.-Only 278 Corvettes had the C60 Air Conditioning option in 1963.-Only 50 were convertibles, according to Noland Adams Corvette & Restoration Guide Vol. 2, 1963 - 1967.-The C60 Air Conditioning option was ONLY available with 250hp and 300hp Corvettes.-This is the rare, 300hp convertible with factoryAir Conditioningand automatic transmission.-The Air Conditioning system blows COLD.This rare 1963 Corvette is probably 1 of less than 5 built withAir Conditioning, 300hp motor, automatic trans, and a convertible.-Have you seen another documented, 1963 convertible Vet with factoryAir Conditioninglately? TheAir ConditioningCompressors used on the 1963 Corvettes were from only four lots shipped to Chevrolet from Frigidaire. They have Foil Identification Tags, and the first two serials numbers started with either 68, 7, 75 or 77. My Compressor starts with 75, and is dated June 3, 1963 ( F 3 3 ). If you find another 1963 Corvette with a starting number on theAir Conditioningcompressor other than 68, 73, 75 or 77, it is probably a fake, and definitely is not the original compressor. This rare Corvette was one family owned from 1963 until 4 years ago. Originally purchased by a Dr. Vickers in 1963 (see photos.) It still retains the ORIGINALAir ConditioningCompressor, brackets, etc. The ORIGINAL engine has never been out of the car, and the ORIGINAL transmission was completely gone through, replacing all seals and clutches in May 2018. The seat covers are in incredible shape for being 56 years old, as well as the door panels. This Corvette has had one repaint years ago.
This 1963 Corvette runs, drives and stops very well. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on any long trip. There are less than 500 miles on the Goodyear tires since new. The brakes were all done in 2018 and stop straight.
Also included are the Original Owner's Manual, Copies of all of the Titles and Sales Contracts within their family, as well as the NCRS Shipping Data Report. Below is a list of all of the Important Numbers of the car.
