Description of 1937 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Whiskey Run1937 Chevy Truck Rat Rod 4X4

Its new life started when the 1937 Chevy truck cab and bed was located behind a barn in South Texas area. The body was then mated to a 1998 Chevy 4x4 chassis.

This build was all based on back roads prohibition style. It's been in one car shows since completed Cabalas first ever Cook Childrensbenefitcar show it won peoples choice over 150 other cars. I was told it will be in the monthlymagazine. It gets so much attention every single person takes pictures and wants to talk about it so if you drive it be prepared to talk people will follow you around. It's going to make someone an awesome show truck driver or a business a great advertising tool. I have never own avehicle that gets this muchattention I think I was in 1000 photos over the few hours of the car show.

Whiskey may look old but she has all the modern features such as a fuel injected vortec 350 no leaks and no smoke it runs very strong.

4L60E four speed automatic transmission no leaks

Aluminum Radiator keeps it running and Idling at 180 (no overheating issues) The engine runs perfect and starts with just a touch of the key. New Dual electric fans and T-Stat help keep it cool in any conditions.

New fuel system includes new pump and sending unit

Power brakes are new and thetruck stops on a dime straight and fast.

It has power steering and iseasy to drive with one hand.

It has new bull horn style stackexhaust and it sounds badass

New Super Swamper 44s

Both diffs are rebuilt and have new seals

The transfer case is rebuilt and works great

The headlights came off an early 1930 caddy and the grill off a Ford in traditional rat rod fashion several pieces of other vehicles coming together and repurposed.

The Jim Beam barrel is one of the Barrels saved from the Kentucky warehouse fire that destroyed 45,000 stored barrels. I felt it was a great addition to the Backwoods Prohibition style build. It is secured with chaintie downsso you can drive with the tailgate down without it moving around.

I made the tail lights out of mansion jars and red led’s. The truck also red led’s in the headlights to give it that angry look.

The battery is in an old Dr. Pepper cooler in the bed of the truck.

All accessories in the cab such as the lantern bug sprayer and whiskey jug are all from 1937. I felt it was necessary to try to maintain some of the original items of the timeframe.

Whiskey has a very rare option alarm system mounted on both running boards AKA bear traps.

The interior is done in camo burlap, Tin, chain, and cowhide

New Adjustable seats with armrests

The body is cleared and has a few bullet hoes

The truck drives wonderful and really is a lot of fun it does not rub and the four-wheel-drive works amazing off road. Whiskey could be driven everyday if someone wanted to do so.

Really to much to list and one hell of a truck
