Description of 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne Brookwood Panel Wagon

WOW!Great Lakes Classic Carsagain, offers up a veryCool Ride Indeed!1959 ChevroletBrookwoodPanel WagonFor 1959 Chevrolet again came up with a totally new car. From the front or rear the 1959 Chevrolets resembled nothing else on the road. From the headlights, placed as low as the law would allow, to the cats-eye tail lights, the 1959 Chevrolet Brookwood was a brand new car with all new sheet metal. The most visual new change was the flat, wing shaped tailfins. The car was built on a 119 in (3,023 mm) wheelbase and was 211 in (5,359 mm) long-which was 11 in (279 mm) longer than the 1957 model.Wagons were still classed by themselves, but had model numbers matching the car series.Chevrolet Biscayne-based Brookwoods were now available in two-door or four-door body styles, both in six-passenger configuration. The 1959 & '60 Brookwood 2-doors are preferred by hotrodders and collectors over their 4-door counterparts. The two-door variant would become the basis for the new-for-1959 El Camino. Our 1959 restored Brookwood was painted in a beautiful Red that shows very well with white seats and door panels trimmed in red matching the exterior color. Comes with a painted dash, same color as exterior and in like new condition with All new gauges installed in the original dash including a modern Pioneer Am/Fm/ Cd audio system.Interior is complimented by a pleated red headliner. The front and rear bumpers are excellent and all trim is shinny including window frame, grill, headlight frames and wheels. Performance has been updated with a 70's era small block 350, 4 bolt main, fueled by a modern 4bbl Edelbrock carb with block headers to open up breathing.Power is run through a TH-350 automatic for a great driving experience. If your a Chevy guy or gal, this is the one to own.Highly desirable Rare 2-door rear flared fins and nicely restored for weekend shows or cruising around town;On display now in our showroomGreat Lakes Classic Cars6 Upton StreetHilton,N.Y.14468(800)510-3797We offer world widetransport assistance.
