Description for Chevrolet C-10 1963

1963 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Pickup. This is an un-restored barn find truck in remarkable original condition with very low miles. This truck is very solid and has very minimal rust with no repairs or bondo. The floorboards, cab corners and doors are in excellent condition. The front fenders have some very minor corrosion in the usual areas that 60-66 Chevrolet C10's in Montana suffer from but far less than most original examples. The body of this truck is incredibly straight, I've never seen an un-restored farm truck of this era with such few dents. The wooden bed floor is mostly rotted away as is often the case. All emblems and trim are present and in excellent condition. Glove box is intact and complete. Owner's Manual is Original and in very good shape. Heater, Controls and Defroster tubes, are in working order with no leaks in heater core. Overall this is a very good all original example of a highly sought after C10 Pickup. The interior is in very good condition for its age. The seat will need re-upholstering as is always the case with un-restored trucks of this vintage. The Chevrolet specific radio blank and horn button are present. This truck rolls and steers freely for ease of loading onto a trailer or moving into a shop. All tires hold air. The original Inline six turns freely and runs well with a turn of the key. This truck only has a genuine 45,100 miles on it due to only being used for 6 months of the year on the farm and then stored in the barn, or parked for the other 6 months. This will make a great project being that it is a rare and highly desirable C10 with great patina as a driver. Or extremely minimal bodywork to contend with on completing a full restoration compared to most examples. It deserves bringing back out to the open road.Local pickup in Denton, Montana or Buyer arranges shipping.
