First 17 pictures are within the last few years. Last 7 pictures are of current condition. Picture of Blue van is what it looked like when I first bought it and before restoration. Was always in good condition.
Time to sell. Moving, and Storage units have to be emptied. Over $20,000 invested and many many hours. This was and still is a totally rust free van (pic of blue color) even before recent work. The only current rust is some surface rust on interior of ceiling which was to be taken care of before headliner went in. I’ve owned for more than 10 years. Air cooled 6 cylinder rebuilt by Corvair Ranch in York Pennsylvania. Has about 30,000 miles on it. Automatic power glide transmission. This van was completely gone through and every screw replaced with stainless. All parts removed cleaned and painted. Interior floor coated with POR15. Entire van primed and painted interior, exterior and underneath. All operational systems have been gone through. New brakes, carburetors, exhaust Including manifolds, heat, cables, inner bearings, everything. All weatherstripping was replaced. Corvair Underground sold me the wrong thickness and some will need replacing. Newer paint but could use a little tlc and new paint. Has been a daily driver for about 3 years, transmission stopped working and has been in storage ever since. (About 2-1/2 years.) Not sure what the problem is. May be a simple fix. I have another transmission, transaxle, engine and boxes of other parts from another 61’ Greenbrier. Boxes of brand new parts from Clark’s Corvair, including new padded carpet. Two sets of new tires, one set studded. Dog dish and spoke hubs. Lenses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all brake parts, New shocks, springs, transmission shift cable (all installed). Spare glass including windshield, rear and side. Includes all 3 bench seats with no rips tears or stains. Too much to remember or list. Currently stored inside. Engine runs great but does need the push tube o-rings replaced, parts included. Drivable but is leaking oil. Will start, (New battery too), but really didn’t want to put more oil in as it will leak out until O-rings are replaced. Everything is there to get it back on the road. Change the transmission (complete rebuild kit included) out and it would be drivable while you do the rest. Does not look as pristine as in the pictures because it’s been driven for a couple years since. Serious buyers only please. Out of state or town buyers. I will assist you with putting it on the ferry or barge (at your cost) to port nearest you. Cost is about $1200. To Seattle port, where you can pick up upon arrival. I will put all parts inside.
