This is an historically significant beauty. Dale Earnhardt won the NASCAR 1987 championship in an Aerocoupe. Only 6,052 examples were produced. The noses were modified and they had the three-piece rear aero back window. I was lucky enough to see that history in the making. I was driving a Monte Carlo in NASCAR and tested it at the Charlotte motor speedway. The all white Aerocoupe was also being tested for Dale Earnhardt. It was a wow the rear window made a fantastic difference. This car is exceptional. It has had three collector owners in its life. They lived in South Carolina and Georgia. The miles are very low and it looks and drives like it is even lower miles. It is rust free and gorgeous they wanted a little higher performance so installed a new crate motor with a roller cam. It drives great. The Hagerty value is: $9,500 $15,200 $21,000 $29,000 Hagerty states an Aerocoupe should sell for 35 percent more than a standard Monte Carlo SS coupe.
