I’m selling a 1981 Chevrolet LUV (Series 11) pickup. The 1.8L 4-cylinder motor runs well and gets good gas mileage. The transmission is a 4-speed manual. It has some minor dents and rust, but the body and paint are in good condition. Items that I have, but are going to need to be repaired or replaced, include the windshield wiper arm linkage bushing, the glove compartment door, the driver-side window handle, the driver-side seatbelt assembly cover and the antenna. The factory radio and dome light don’t work. The front end has begun to squeak some, and I’m not sure if it’s the steering or suspension. It has Dean Alpha tires, matching hubcaps, a new alternator, new windshield wipers and working seat belts. I recently had the tires rotated and balanced and the oil and filter changed. It comes with a 4-flat trailer wiring harness and 1 7/8” and 2” hitch balls. All exterior lights work, even the ones for the license plate. The factory-installed air conditioning (R-12, NOT R-134a) blows cool, but not cold, air. The odometer reads 63,599, but has not worked while I have been the owner. I will include the Haynes manual. It would be a good vehicle for either someone looking for a daily driver or a restoration project.
