I purchased this beautiful deuce from an estate after the owners death.The car was undercoated early in life and there is no rot anywhere. I pressure washed under the car and blew some of the undercoating off revealing factory painted sheet metal..There is a couple of pin holes in the trunk pan which I attribute to the mat holding moisture for 53 years, they are not bad at all..The car has its flaws but is in the best condition of all the Chevy II's I have ever owned..The speedometer makes a little noise when its cold and the mileage does not register..Odometer is at 76*** ..I replaced the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and all rubber brake lines..The car has a new aluminum radiator, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses and points..Tires are like new. I drive the car anywhere and would love to keep it but I have lost my storage so Its time to pass it on..The dome light, glove compartment light and cigarette lighter works..The only thing I know of that doesn't work is the fuel gauge..The car could use some rear shocks and there is a slight stumble when first accelerating..It has plenty of power and gets on down the road..No drips and doesn't burn oil..Manual and protecto plate present..This car is an awesome driver and draws a crowd every where it goes..The car fires up everytime and fast idle works..Come drive it home..I will answer any questions..Car sold as-is, no warranty, no refunds.******. ***Sorry to all the previous bidders.
