Description of 1989 Chevrolet Corvette

I bought this car from the original owner who was involved in a minor accident and the insurance company totaled it. I normally buy cars like this for parts and that was my intention with this one. This car is way too nice to parts out. Its not a show car but it very clean for its age and mileage. I was shocked when I found out what the mileage was but after driving it on a 250 mile round trip and averaging 24MPG. I am amazed. If I was told this car had 50K. I would believe it. The original engine and transmission were both rebuilt in the past but I don't know exactly when. The engine runs perfectly. does not make any unusual noises. gets great gas mileage. passes emission tests. doesn't burn any oil. Transmission shifts through all gears smoothly upshifting and downshifting with no issues. Fuel injectors have been replaced with aftermarket disc type injectors. Glass targa top is a little foggy but have no cracks. Car has new OE Goodyear tires front and rear. Brakes including anti lock work w no issues. This an excellent looking cheap Corvette. you cant go wrong. these cars are worth more in parts. the front and rear suspensions are in high demand with the street rod folks.
