Description for Chevrolet Fleetline 1947

1947 Fleetline. 100 percent mechanically complete. Close to 35000 the way it sits.At least 6000 dollars under the hood with the new engine and all the components.New 300 hp 350 crate engine, rebuilt turbo transmission, Chassis Engineering components complete from front to back. Ford 8.8 2.79 rear end. Built to cruise at 70 mph at 2200 rpmProfessional build by a Rod Shop in Arizona. NO RUST!This build was started by a very wealthy engineer who had the money to build it the way he wanted and he was very particular about the direction he was going. The car came from Arizona and had very little rust. The body was removed and put on a rotissire. The frame was detailed and the chassis engineering components, engine, transmission, Mustang 2 front end with power steering, rear end, disc brakes, master cylinder, etc, was installed before the body was put back on with all new body mounts.I bought the car from him when he got transferred to work in Australia. I installed the IDIDIT steering wheel, had new front and back glass installed, connected the LOKAR cable shift and was on my way to finish the car when I had a really bad motorcycle accident 6 years ago that shattered my ribs. I am no longer able to finish the car and have to be realistic. I have 3 other rods and have to reluctantly give this one up.This car was built right and I will list as much as I can. I have all the chrome, window panels, door panels, etc to finish. I may be missing a minor thing here and there but not much. The car is wired up with Ron Francis Wiring and just needs the wires terminated at the front and back lights. The car is sound proofed and insulated on the new floors, door panels, top, etc. I wanted it to be as quite as a Mercedes inside.

It can be driven the way it is with just a little more time to finish rewiring the front and back headlights and some minor tweaking. The new engine and tranny have no miles except for running it in the garage and up and down the street a couple of times.
If you are looking to build a car, you will be way ahead with this car in time and money.I am sure I have left out a lot and will post as I remember.
No warranties and all sales are final but I think you will be very happy with this car.I have many parts for this car that are not listed.
The body is in excellent shape. Please feel free to ask any questions
I don't BS and expect you to be the same way. I will delete you if you have little or no feed back.

I know someone will ask this question. The reserve is not much more then the cost of the engine. Someone will get a bargain. I learned many years ago that you will work forever on a rust bucket and never get it to the level of this car body. All the panels in the engine compartment are brand new as well as the rest of the car.
In my opinion, Chassis Engineering components are the best you can buy. The Fleetmaster in the last picture is built with the same components as the Aerosedan and it drives and handles like a new car.
I have new chrome running lights for the grill, and headlight bezels. I will try to go through my garage and list stuff as I find it.The wires for the a/c and lights are neatly tie wired under the dash and just need to be run. Like all wiring kits, the wires are labeled every inch or so to make it easy.
The VDO gauges are electronic and all work as they should. I have a VDO tach not installed that goes with the car. It mounts where the clock would be.
As stated before, there is no rust hiding anywhere on this car.

Pictures do not do this car justice. You will be overwhelmed by the quality of this build.
