Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS

1964 Chevy Impala SS factory 327 Muncie 4 speed original. Condition is Used. This Impala is about the most RUST FREE car you could find this old. Car has no patch panels no RUST that was fixed! Please see last two pictures of the few tiny spots of rust. NO rust holes! Some minor surface rust in the trunk-see pictures. Runs,drives, stops great! The steering needs some work I think. Car has narrow bias tires that don't help. Steering has some slop and might need help. Very nice interior with factory 4 speed console with original shifter and factory tachometer on the steering column. I thought I would have this SS forever...but I got injured at work and just can't drive a stick shift anymore with an artificial ankle and a plate with screws in my leg. The last few years I've barely driven it. It will have a fresh oil change (Mobile 1 is all I've used) before it leaves.Car is LOUD with short glass packs. Not exhaust leaks!Car has power steering and under dash Air Conditioning that is cold.Car has small dings, scratches. Paint is older but still shines.

I have some extra parts that go with it,I have both front fenders trim that is NOS.I have the antenna.I have most of the rear cove trim NOS.I have both fender skirts that are painted same color as the car.I have a really nice grill with the headlight bezels and the chrome trim on the bottom of the grill.I have both front bumper guards that are really nice.
** it has come to my attention that the lower truck HAS BEEN REPLACED** I don't know if any thing else has been replaced. I bought the car out of Lompoc California from the nephew of the original owner-that is what I was told. If he lied about the trunk pan, what else was a lie? SORRY I JUST DON;T KNOW.
I think the car is still worth the reserve price or more.
I also have some more parts that ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION-SOLD SEPARATELY, tilt steering column, am/fm radio, wood steering wheel....
