1969 Camaro Z28 . Matching # DZ 302. X33. Hugger Orange. Radio delete. Norwood build For sale is my 69 DZ302 Z28. Norwood Ohio built. X33 style trim Z28. Numbers matching car. Story I am told is that a father purchase this car for his military son that never returned from Vietnam. Father kept car for numerous years. Sold it. Then it was sold again to the gentleman I bought the car from. Restoration: restoration receipts date from 3/2005- 7/2011. Body: This is fully restored real x33 Z28. X33 is style trim w/z28. No dents. Scratches. Panels straight. Alignments good. I look this car over all the time. If anything can be found with the naked eye. it can be waxed/hand buffed out as needed. Build date: O3E is 5th week of March. Monday was the 31st . This car is product run 625553. March run is 607165-625587. So only about 24 cars where produced after this car in march 69. Run dates and numbers are approximate per US Camaro club. Engine: Matching number DZ302 motor. Late production code stamp on back of block matches VIN. Holley Carburetor (4053) and date stamp (39) in place. Correct Winters intake. Correct date manifold cast. Drive train: Muncie M21 4 speed. Correct cast date. 3. 73 rear end. Posi trac. 12 bolt Paint: This is code 72 Hugger Orange . It was born code 71 LeMans Blue. Now orange. Super job done on the paint . Very deep and rich. No visible pecks or door dings. Very nice. Both blue and orange where the most common colors for 69 Z28. 12% of all Camaros built in 69 where either blue or orange. Per online GM Camaro stats site and restoration guides. Interior: code 712 Black interior now. Car was born code 727 Ivory standard interior. This is a radio delete car. RPO D55 floor mounted shifter/console. RPO U17 special instrument cluster. Electrical: all gauges work as they should. All lights work as they should. Clock does not work. New battery w/ battery tender connection installed w/ easy connect coming out front grill. Glass: some original. Some replace. No damage Bright work: bumpers replaced/or re chromed. Emblems are correct. Wheels/tires/brakes: 5 original rally wheels restored. Brand new BFG to correct size for 69 z28. Front disc brakes Exhaust: manifold back custom bent minimum weld exhaust and custom xpipe seam cut/weld. FlowMasters. Correct z28 chrome tips in correct location. Great breathing exhaust. Sounds awesome. Documentation: 3 ring binder of receipts of restoration invoices and notes. Sadly. for me…. No build sheet. No window sticker. No Pro-tect-o plate. Because this car does not have a ton of documentation or promenounce. this car is not a super high dollar z28 car that it could be. That is all. Once the paperwork is gone…. its gone. Car starts. drives. stops as it should. Pulls super hard in power band of 4000-7000 range. Likes to run on high octane racing fuel and/or 100 low lead aviation fuel. Will run fine on 93 pump gas. If you want a fine real Z28. this is it. I am selling this Z28 to pursue other toy cars. You may call me with questions. Jim 318-five-one-two-6912. jlivigni@ahgphysician. com Sold as is. with no warranty expressed or implied.
