Description of 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a first-year Sting Ray with a highly original presentation. So if you love a time capsule car, look over everything from the survivor-grade paint to the numbers-matching L76 V8 and four-speed. It even comes with both tops!
Survivor means something more in Corvette circles, and so it's awesome to have a highly original car like this. The paint shows all signs of being original to the car, and there are even some telltale markings. You still have a shine that looks quite good well over half a century later. Plus, having an Ermine White car is extra special. After all, this was the color for every first-year Corvette made, and so it gives this first-year C2 Sting Ray a real connection to the Corvette's legacy. As expected for a well-respected survivor, the full brightwork package is in place, including the two-piece chrome bumpers, hood vents, rocker trim, and wheel covers. It's such a well-preserved total look that it's easy to believe the low mileage odometer reflects the car's actual mileage.
The black folding roof gives you a timeless color combo, and the color-matched hardtop offers a coupe-like sophistication. But as good as both of these look, nothing beats a convertible with the top down. The factory-correct black package looks great against the white exterior. It's a highly original and well preserved appearance. The only piece that doesn't appear stock is the AM/FM/cassette stereo. But its retro style fits in nicely while giving you the advantage of upgraded driving music. While this is a low mileage machine, it's also meant for enjoying on the road. That's why Chevy gave you bucket seats, a grippy three-spoke steering wheel, full gauges w/large speed and tach, and the crisp action of the stick shift.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching L76 327 cubic-inch V8. It's a piece you'll enjoy showing off with the correct Chevy orange on the block, cursive script valve covers, and the shiny pie dish air cleaner and ignition shield. And don't forget, the L76 was the upper echelon of the four-barrel carb Corvettes in '63, so it's a survivor-grade look on an ultra-desirable motor. This is the debut of the fully independent suspension Corvette, and it works with the numbers-matching four-speed and Positraction rear end to deliver a confident feeling that also keeps you in tune with the road.
Complete with maintenance records and owner's manual, this is a significant Corvette presented in a great survivor-grade quality. So if you're looking for true Corvette history, don't let this Sting Ray pass you by. Call now!
