1969 Corvette 350/300HP (match) 4 Spd Owned Since 1971 Daytona Yellow, Black Vinyl Interior, Speed Warning Indicator, Power Steering, AM/FM If you are searching for an excellent candidate to restore, take a close look at this one. Owned and cherished for 48 years by the same owner, and yet unfortunately, health issues caused it to remain in storage for the past several years. It was picked up from his garage on a flatbed and taken to a well respected mechanic in our area this week. A new battery was installed, the fuel tank was drained, fresh gas put in the tank, the carburetor and fuel lines were flushed, new fuel line installed from pump to frame, a new distributor cap, rotor and ignition points were installed, he inspected the brake operation, the clutch and transmission operation and test drove it. The overall appearance and condition should be considered “unrestoredâ€, and as such, it could require a full restoration. For someone with a modest budget, it could be enjoyed as is-an investment and a “driver†to have fun with. The original “matching number†engine is still in place (the pad is factory stamped with the last six of the VIN and VO908HY). The mileage on the odometer is 69,043 -we can’t prove it to be original. Keep in mind, it’s a matching number 350/300hp, with a 4 speed in Daytona Yellow and a 48 year ownership history. VIN: 194379S730844
