Description of 1987 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado

Here is a great example of a square body weekend driver, it draws a lot of attention at the local shows. It’s a great driver and handles well. We get compliments every time we take it out.

I found this truck in the Atlanta area where it went through a major restoration. There the motor was replaced with a Goodwrench motor as warranty work (low millage). A Rough Country suspension was added along with Detroit Lockers. The transfer case has been rebuilt (this year), it and the transmission have fresh fluid. I am the third owner, and as things go have done a lot of work to this along the way. A complete new fuel system to include; gas tank, sending unit, rubber fuel neck, and all the pieces behind the gas door, all new fuel lines, filter, canister, fuel pump, Edelbrock intake, and Edelbrock carburetor. The parking/emergency brake repairs. New side glass (one piece) tinted, new rails for the glass in the tailgate, new rear view/door mirrors, chrome vent window latches, horn button, all new fitted carpet, door panels, chrome, door trim, window seals, and new stereo w/USB & Aux, rear speakers. On the outside; new hood with fresh paint, we also repainted the top and the driver’s side fender, redid the chrome around the body (the body is about 99%), and shocks, powder coated the hurricane wheels, stainless steel nerf steps. The A/C has just been serviced and blows cold. This truck is clean as a pin.

Minor Issues – I’ve wanted to replace the driver’s side vent window but haven’t been able to find one anywhere. It’s not too big of a deal at all and I’ll allow $ for it. The tailgate switch to put the tailgate window up and down isn’t functional. We took it all apart and it was just unusable… (a new one I can’t find) I have included a manual crank and lock set to replace it. I wasn’t ready to install it because the electric switch in the cab still works great, and I decided I still liked that a little better.Everything on this truck works as it should.

Don’t hesitate to ask questions! This truck is rockstar, it has no hidden issues, and I would drive it anywhere! I will be available, and support shipping for any carriers for pick-up. Schedule time to see it,
