Description of 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Chevelle SS

I have for sale a 1964 Chevelle SS that I purchased two weeks ago. It is a true SS car confirmed by the 2nd and 3rd character of the vin # 45837B182259. The car has what I was told to be the original 4 speed transmission with a Hurst shifter. I was told the transmission has been rebuilt. It works really well. This car has a 12 bolt pos track rear end. The car as you can see in the pictures has had some restoration done by a previous owner. The work he did looks nice but is not show quality by any means. The car is very eye catching. The engine is a later model 350 CI -V8 that sounds really good with the side pipes and headers. The underneath side of the hood has mirrors to reflect the engine when open. As you can see in the pictures it is equipped with Crager SS wheels with relatively new raised white letter tires. The floor pans and trunk pan are very good and solid. It has new bumpers. the interior has been redone and looks very nice. The instrument cluster has been converted to solid state but in the same look as the original. The dash pad has been replaced. It does not have power steering. I checked it with a magnet all over and the only body filler I found is the lip between the rear bumper and trunk panel. This is a very sound car that could easily be restored to show quality or driven to local car shows as it is and get a lot of thumbs up and heads turning. This car runs great and sounds great but comes with no warranty implied or otherwise. A $500. 00 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the auction ending and the balance to be paid in cash at pickup or through Pay Pal before pick up. The buyer must pick the car up or make arrangements to have it picked up within one week of the auction ending. If the car doesn't sell at auction for what I want out of it. I will keep it for my collection of Chevelle SS cars. If you are wondering why I am selling it. I bought it to resell to raise money for my final collection of prestine Chevelle SS show cars. I reserve the right to remove any time as I have the car for sale locally as well.
