1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Correct Rally Red. This car was born on July 28, 1966, one of the last '66 Vettes. I have owned this car since 2002. It is a numbers matching L79 option high horse 327/350 horsepower. Factory side pipes! No power brakes or power steering, no a/c or anything to rob horsepower to the rear axles. The drive train is a Muncie 4-speed and the rear is a 3:36 posi. Factory radio, vinyl seats, factory seat belts, everything! This car is original and/or correct in every way. It drives perfect, sounds amazing and runs super strong.
Restoration occurred in 2016 and has been driven less than 100 miles since. The black top is brand new Al Knoch. The tires are radial gold lines. This is a car is what I would call a solid #2 car. It has won car shows. Needs nothing! I think it would easily certify to NCRS. As a bonus I have an unrestored factor hard top that I acquired after I restored the car that I will include. No disappointments on this car.
