The two-tone paint and A/C interior might get you excited about a nice classic 1987 Chevrolet Silverado. But don't forget about the Vortec-powered V8, upgraded suspension, and huge rear tires that tell you this is one street-eating pickup. This truck has an awesome-looking two-tone red and black. In fact, the Silverado's premium trim provides distinct dividing lines all along the sides and on the roof. And the billet grille, shining chrome bumper, and upgraded headlights put a nice face forward on this pickup. But the more you look at it, the meaner it gets. The cowl hood, smooth rear pan, and Weld racing wheels are indications of speedy custom touches. Plus, those Mickey Thompson rear tires are so massive that they had to custom tub the bed. So the stance is absolutely sinister. The black and red two-tone continues inside. It's a nice place to spend some time with a bench seat finished in a comfy velour, new dash, power locks, power steering, and provisions for power windows. Plus, the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a. This generation Chevy truck is great for a gauge panel that warps around the driver like a sports car, and when you twist the key, it sounds like a true muscle machine. Under the hood is a modern power marvel. It's GM's 6.0-liter Vortec V8. And while this is already an awesome upgrade, it has been enhanced further with features like an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, high rise intake, and headers feeding the rumbling dual exhaust to give it that classic feel. The TH400 three-speed unit is Chevy's stout transmission that can handle this big power, and at the same time deliver automatic shifting comfort. Those big rear tires are kept planted by an upgraded four-link rear w/adjustable coilovers. Plus, you have upgraded control thanks to the rear sway bar and four-wheel power disc brakes.
