2 old sisters ( school teachers) bought this car 10-3-1966 at Sauls Motors Saltville Va. . only one of the sisters could drive and she died in 1990. The car sat in a barn since then. It was $2324. 00 and 15. 80 for a white top. I want you to be happy with the old car before you bid on it. call 276-345-7706 and I'll answer any questions you might have. it would be a good chevelle to fix up or use as a donor parts car. that don't cost a lot of money. The pictures will tell you a lot about the car and I can send more if you want. I have a good title. original bill of sale. owners manual. service manual. and the protect-o-plate and if you want you can inspect it before bidding. just contact me. Most of the rust is inside and the bottom back of both front fenders. The head liner is gone. the seat covers are toast. the floor panels are probably bad. can't get under to see how bad. the old car just has 81. 00 miles on it. the 6 cylinder engine and drive train is all there with a 10 bolt rear end . only the alternator is missing. the radiator no doubt is bad. The radio comes with the car . the back glass has been taken out . but is good along with all of the other glass. the windows all roll up and down. the the door latch on the drivers door don't latch and the rear passengers door on the right side won't open. the lock is froze up. The front bumper and grill are very good. the back bumper has a small dent on the right corner and is not bad. the tail lights. park lights and other lights look OK. The hood and hinges only has surface rust. the trunk lid has some rust places in side and surface rust out side. the trunk floor has a hole about the size of a baseball on the right side. the rest of the floor don't look bad. I have 2 sets of the original keys ( 4 keys ) and all of the locks seem to work. I rescued the car and only want to make a few dollars and find it a home. I'm not going to do any work on it . selling as is. so ask questions and like it before bidding. Also it has a set or corvair wire wheels and good looking Uniroyal 205-15 tires. a couple of the wheels have a little rust in the dish part of the wheels. Thanks for looking .
