Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

1973 Corvette Stingray: Factory optioned with the LS4 Big Block 454ci engine and 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, tilt-telescopic steering column, air conditioning (not working) and removable T-Tops.

I purchased this car back in 2012. At which time, it did run but had been sitting for many years and was in need of some restoration. Over the last 8 years I have spent countless hours (and a small fortune) restoring it back to it’s original factory appearance and specifications. Both the original 454ci engine and TH400 transmission have been professionally rebuilt to stock specifications. The car has new exhaust, new brakes, new rear leaf spring and rear sway bar, new electrical wiring, new weather-stripping and a recent base coat/clear coat paint job. Sadly, most of the original factory air conditioning components were missing when I got the car (evaporator and case, condenser, compressor, etc.), so a lot of time was spent making the interior as cool and quite as possible. Dynamat sound deadner was laid down all throughout the interior compartment (firewall, floor boards, transmission tunnel and luggage compartment), the result of which made a huge difference! It’s very enjoyable to drive, stays nice and cool and you can actually carry on a conversation. There are a few minor things left to do, none of which are high dollar items or affect the current drivability of the car.
