Background Welcome to the opportunity to purchase a truly rare and unique truck! This truck went through a partial restoration years ago. It will last forever and take you on a wild ride across this beautiful country. The Chevy has been my daily driver for quite sometime now but I have moved to Portland, Oregon and I do not need a vehicle as much. This is a proven reliable vehicle and it is your turn to take this master piece and enjoy it for the rest of your life. Body and Interior The body, frame, chassis, and rails are straight and solid. The undercarriage is clean. It’s a very reliable easy to maintain truck that gets you anywhere you need. The interior has been reupholstered and has new carpet as well. The paint is originally Hugger Orange and has been resprayed in the same color at some point in its life. Engine and Transmission This Chevy is powered by a built 350 engine paired with a built turbo 400 automatic transmission that works flawlessly. It can handle freeway speeds, towing, whatever the task is it’s there to help you. Odometer reads 45,150. If you know this engine they will last a lifetime. This is a truck from 1969 with 400+ HP that can go freeway speeds easy with no issues, no rattles, just smooth sailing. Wear and Tear This is no show truck but it definitely looks good and runs even better. It could use a nice wax to bring out that Hugger Orange paint job. It currently has drum brakes and with the built engine I would recommend converting them to disc since this truck is fast! There is minimal rust in the usual areas near the underside of the doors and rain gutters but that is the only thing apparent. The passenger door panel is slightly worn and the driver window is not connected to the track. Title and Registration I have a clean Oregon title and it is currently registered as a classic. It’s a very unique truck unlike others on the market and has the appeal of an honest old truck but has a kick under the hood! It has been regularly maintained. Runs and drives great, is fun to drive and ready to enjoy as-is. It has loads of character that's hard to duplicate. I have represented the Chevy to the best of my ability.
