1969 Camaro Z28/Rally Sport X-33 Factory Cross Ram with TI ignition am pleased to offer for sale my 1969 Z28 RS. I have had this car for many years, and it is now time for it to go to another home. My wish is to find the right person that will finish this restoration in the spirit of keeping with the GM heritage and its racing history .I have had the greatest experience meeting some of the absolute best people in the industry. Fifteen years ago, I met Wayne Guinn, author of “Camaro The Untold Secrets “and I was hooked! After sourcing a Factory original cross ram intake and carburetors, I then met Al Tischler and his sons Justin and Mark. They operate Tischler Competition Engines and are top shelf. With many racing trophies under their belt, I knew I found the right team. If I thought it could not get any better, it did. Al and his sons were building a Crossram Z28 for Derek Trulson whose car was featured in Super Chevy Magazine. I highly recommend reading this article. With vintage heads on loan from Penske, Al and his sons got to work. A super professional porting job modeled after the legendary racing heads that propelled GM to consecutive SCCA racing titles, were now mine. The engine was engineered by Wayne and equipped with a street friendly cam. The high revving original was only good for the track. His brilliance led to the 448HP dyno tested masterpiece that is ready to run. Below I have listed all the wonderful NOS parts that are all exactly date coded to this real Z28. Interior The car was one of those that did not come with a tachometer. It is well documented that this is correct, not all Z28’s did. However. Since my car was raced and the dash was hacked, I sourced a real GM replacement dash that was restored, hot stamped chrome like the factory did, and have acquired a factory original Tach, and a NOS GM in the box center fuel gauge. No reproduction stuff here, all GM. This is the way it should have been done. As for completing the rest of the interior, I highly recommend the 1969 Monster Deluxe Interior Kit from Heartbeat City. My car, soon to be yours, is an original black and white deluxe houndstooth interior car. Check out the trim tag picture. TR 713 says it all. Put all this together with an NOS dash pad, in my list of parts, and you are well on your way to win some trophies at car shows. This car was locally owned and raced here in town. The body appears to have some replacement panels, and I will go with the expert. My amateur eyes can tell you that this car just needs a body shop that knows their way around a first-generation Camaro. There is no doubt in my mind that there are many experts in this trade and have the capabilities to bring this over the top. If you need all GM sheet metal, it is out there.
