1985 Chevrolet Corvette: Targa TPI - 4+3 Manual Transmission

Up for auction is this 1985 black Corvette that has a 5.7 liter tuned port injection V8 engine - 4+3 overdrive manual transmission. Car has 115,000 original miles. Power windows, locks, AC, cruise control, rear defroster, telescopic tilt wheel and many other options. The car runs good. Well maintained, never driven in snow, never beat on and always garaged. Have all related paperwork with clean title, no liens. This Corvette has been sitting for several years.

This 35 year old classic sports car is anything but a run of the mill Corvette; this Corvette is fitted with 17 inch high performance "OZ" Italian racing rims that are in excellent condition, costing around $1000 each. The tires are OK, and are Goodyear high performance "Z" rated. The exhaust system is custom done with high performance mufflers, increasing the factory horsepower by 20HP. The interior is clean, black with teal green and all leather. The car has two removable tops, the original targa hard top, and a special rain coat top safe at speeds up to 60mph. The car has a removable front end mask. The car is equipped with a built in radar detector system that runs the entire circumference of the vehicle, giving you a 360 degree radius of detection.The car has an alarm system able to unlock/lock and pop the hatch, even through dense walls.

But one is really amazed when one sits in it and notices the alpine video/audio system installed. There is a DVD player and LCD screen that comes out of the dash that also runs the audio, video, radio, auxiliary and navigational CDs. There is also an alpine 12 disk CD changer, and all of this works off of a remote control. The sound is amplified by numerous speakers around the car as there is over 30 of them. In the rear there is the acclaimed SONY ES Speakers and MB Quartz in the front, SONY Explodes, Mobile ES etc. Also in the back are numerous JL audio amps, which power the system. To top it all off, it all lights up bright teal green with a touch of a switch. The entertainment system was state of the art in its day, and costs more than $6000 all installed. All equipment has a lifetime warranty by Suburban Audio, who put it in and is located in NJ.

This Corvette is pretty fast and handles great, especially around corners and sharp turns. I had many thrilling adventures. I am too lazy and old to enjoy it anymore.
