The remainder of the pictures were taken recently. Has been on synthetic oil for the last 20 years. No smoke. A few thousand dollars would put this car right back to show condition. In its prime there is nowhere this car would travel that people didn't stretch their neck to see it. I found out to the contrary a short time ago. The pictures you will receive tonight should address your questions. I believe the pictures will reveal the areas of rust. I even took the skirts off to take pictures. One side had some rust by the wheel opening while the other side had none. Most of the customizing was done many years ago. I had the chrome redone as most of it was painted the same as the car when it was purchased many years ago. The re-chroming was done by the bumper boys in calif who did a horrible job as you will see in pictures you receive. I don't recommend them at all. I took pictures of the trunk also. As the major restoration was done in the 50's the carpeting done was mo-hair and a terror to vacuum. I took more pictures of the interior as the ones on e-bay revealed dirt. The seats and side panels are in like new condition just a little dirty from sitting. Also as the car sat in the hot Florida sun and the plastic cracked on the traffic light reader and on the speedometer cover. The headlight covers were specially made for the car when it was originally customized. I received a firm quote to re-chrome all rusted areas (i. e. 2 bumpers. one grille bar). Price was $1. 00 for all pieces with a lifetime guarantee to the owner.
