- Chevrolet El Camino .- It is actually a GMC CABALLERO---Car has been extremely well cared for and garage kept- SAME OWNER for last 10-20 years or even longer...- The gentleman who owned it passed at 83 years of age and left to family -I am a gm Tech grad from G.M Trade in 1984-..Loved these cars. If It Was'nt "Clean" and In Great Shape"!!! I would not have bought it- Wife says I have too many cars and other Vehicles..So it has to Go along with a couple more..!! I personally Compression tested 135-145 across the board- all factory everything down to the CCC{ COMPUTER COMMAND CONTROL} Electronic carb { "click click click" still works as designed}and cat converter all still as it was from new..No modifications whatsoever- It has been repainted{ maybe 5 years ago- been inside ever since} and we did valve cover gaskets, trans service trans pan gaske, filters and spark plugs- Runs decent/ strong for a 305- TH 350-- may still need minor tuning when relocated- -Oil was clean.. And while V-covers where off - we took note of how clean rockers and castings were.WELL CARED FOR CAR-! Same with trans oil--There are no leaks - ps/trans/axle/engine/ all non leaking- very clean-Brakes good- front and rear-----"Reserve Price" has been set "LOWER" then other El caminos 1983 thru 1985--seen here on ebay and elsewhere- And I assure you it is in better shape from what I've seen!! Tires decent- wheel bearings good- a/c needs charged-may need leak fixed- r12 factory system-- heater works- factory radio. statics . But it is original..The car is old and has only minor blems here and there.
