Description of 1969 Chevrolet Corvette

For your consideration... The hardest to find and undoubtedly the most desirable C-3 made. The 1969 Corvette 2 top Convertible. This car came to us from the second owner who loved, and enjoyed it for the last 32 years (even surviving his marriage). The car is a very good, dependable, driver quality car. The engine is a rebuilt and great running 300 hp / 350 c.i. which we believe is correct to the car though decked when rebuilt so no vin to verify on block. (see pic.). Strong t.h. 350 trans. and a tight rear end. It has speed minder speedometer and tilt telescopic steering wheel. Factory 15 X 7 Wheels with very nice tires and the brakes were completely done two years ago.Originally Daytona yellow with black interior and white soft top (usable to get you out of a rain storm). The body color tag is gone but it's still yellow in all the hard to find, non visable spots. The hard top is off another car we had with fresh black paint and a tan liner which is still in great shape. The frame and bird cage seem to overall be in very nice shape but need a patch on the end of the drivers side rear ( upper, see pic. rest of the frame is excellent and solid). Seats are usable as a driver as is the carpet and door panels. No cracks in dash at all.Body shows no signs of being in any major trouble in it's life. There is a crack / split beneath drivers headlight and bumper (see pic). Drivers side top boot latch is loose and cracking along latch on bottom side and will not sit down all the way. Wiper cover needs new rod and isn't currently working. If I haven't talked you out of it yet with this honest description, let me tell you thatI've taken my wife out to dinner in it several times and its just a straight driving, good old solid driver in need of a restoration or a new person to enjoy it the way she is. I like having a car i can drive to get parts, watch the thumbs up, and and enjoy a bit with no worries. This car fits that bill and you'll never lose a nickle on it sitting in the garage. As with all our sales, please look the pictures over. please ask for more if you want to see anything specific or for videos if available. Have additional pics of birdcage and around windshield for the asking. They are pretty decent.
