Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10

Muscle Car GarageWe are a private collection of 60's and 70's muscle cars. We also do restorations in our two locations in the Jacksonville and Orlando area. From time to time we decide to offer one of our collector cars up for sale. Our vehicles are usually full "nut and bolt" restorations and are the quality of a regional or local show car winner. Many of our cars are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing restorations to the level of regional show car quality. We are not a concourse restorer. and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if you choose to do so. Up for auction is our 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Patina Shop Truck. This C-10 has been fitted with the EZ Air Ride bag system at all four corners and rides and looks like a dream. Many parts are either new or restored. Any major rust issues were addressed and repaired including new rockers. one floor patch & passenger fender patch all welded in metral. The cab corners. lower driver fender. driver door. tailgate. and some small spots in the bed are cool patina rust areas and are part of the look we were going for and are very minor. This is a strong rebuilt 350 with a 700R4 Overdrive Automatic Trans and a 12 Bolt rear end. Truck runs and looks great. It has been taken to shows in the area over the last 6 months. All Around Details:Truck is very solid and runs and looks great. Does not overheat and shifts and brakes as it should. The Power disc brake system is all new. Patina Paint was all created. Entire truck was scuffed for a satin look and random areas were sanded out exposing the layers of paint and bare metal for some nice surface rust. Truck has been equipped with a new EZ Air Lift Bag system with 444C ViAir chrome compressor and all four corners are independent and at your control. Has new 18" Ridlers and new tires all around. Many interior parts have been replaced in the last 2 years including a newly upholstered bench seat. carpet. dash pad. gauge bezel. etc. . All weatherstripping has been replaced and window felt channels are all new. New front and rear glass with seals. Has strong 350 motor with Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and aluminum intake. Factory Exhaust manifolds and 2. 5" dual exhaust with turn downs at the rear axle. Truck has Power Steering as well as electronic ignition and was a factory A/C truck. Bed has super cool patina surface rust and is solid. Exterior Details:All major rust has been repaired. Bed. cab and rocker mounts are all solid. New front and rear glass has been installed with new seals. Grille is in great condition and has new chrome rear bumper. All bad light lenses have been replaced. Wheels are new Ridler 645's with 18x 8. 5" at all 4 corners and new rubber as well. Paint is created Patina and is a super cool shop truck look. Truck has a great stance with the wheel/tire set up along with the adjustable air ride. The bed is solid and has great Patina and we kept is as is because we think it is very cool and hard to replicate. The Tailgate has some rust issues at the base but changing it out we felt took away from the rustic bed and we decided to leave as is. It opens and closes as it should. Interior Details:Most of the interior has been completely redone. Everything dingy has been replaced or restored over the last 2 years. Dash pad and custom seat upholstery is very recent. All handles. pulls. nbsp;pedal pads. and dash bright work has been replaced. Truck has the optional gauge package in dash and all dash lighting works. Truck has a radio delete plate and a push button start. Also has seat belts and custom Grant GT steering wheel. EZ Air Ride billet console is nicely mounted under center dash with individual controls and working gauges. Mechanical Details:Original 350 has been rebuilt and has less than 5. 00 miles since the rebuild. Motor was rebuilt back to stock except for the Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. Trans is a 700R4 and couples nice to the 12 Bolt rear differential. The entire Power Disc Brake system has been redone. Truck has factory power steering. New alternator. fuel pump. radiator. and fuel tank have been installed within the last 2 years. Truck also has electronic ignition. Most everything works as it should. All lights. wipers. gauges. dash lighting. horn. heater. nbsp;etc. are all working. The speedometer is not working due to the overdrive conversion and also the gas gauge is not accurate. After market Temp gauge has been installed under dash left of steering wheel and works as it should. Other than those things I have mentioned everything works as it should. This truck is very reliable. cranks up easy everytime. nbsp;and is in great shape mechanically. Summary:This is a super nice topside restored shortbed Patina C-10 with some great upgrades including Air Ride and the 700R4 Overdrive Trans. It looks and drives as it should and the new owner will be proud to take to local car shows and cruise ins to enjoy. This has a very cool "Shop Truck" vibe and is a great driver. There are no surprises. This is a solid example and pretty much everything over the last 2 years has been replaced. restored. or rebuilt. Good luck bidding!!!!
