Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was born a real-deal Super Sport. And while it has its correct classic color combo, you can also tell by its stance that there's more going on here. So not only will you like the style, but also you'll also love the enhanced big block power, upgraded suspension, and four-on-the-floor to really harness it all.

Willow Green is a color we don't see too often, so this one is already an instant stand out against the more common red or black Chevelle. You can see the factory-correct color vividly today thanks to a respray, and the light metallic element radiates noteworthy shine in the sunlight. This coupe has signs of a quality restoration from every side. The crisp black vinyl top has a tight stitching, and it loves highlighting the pillarless hardtop with a premium touch. The rubber and weather-stripping feel fresh and pliable, doors shut solid, and the hood and trunk line up nicely when closed. Plus, the brightwork pieces such as Chrome bumpers, grille, bezels, and emblems have a shine that can never go unrecognized. More than those fundamentals, this has the right Super Sport elements, like the hood vent trim, ribbed rocker panels, blackout rear panel, and proper SS badging all-around. And of course, the Rally wheels with meaty rear tires and a forward-leaning stance gives this real-deal SS coupe an undeniable presence.

We love it when the roof color is also a preview of the full interior color. And this one is particularly attractive because most of the major components have been refreshed later in life. It's an inviting crisp and clean total presentation that will make family and friends beg for a ride. But no matter how many people are around, the driver is always king. The thin and grippy SS three-spoke steering wheel feels great in your hands. This also gives you a clear view at the ultra-wide speedometer, and the tach is even correctly housed off to the left. There are cleanly mounted auxiliary gauges below the dash, and a Hurst shifter gives you the proper muscle car feel. The full presentation is truly vintage, right down to the trunk. It's meant to be a pure classic atmosphere, and so even the AM/FM radio upgrade is a retro-style unit

Lift the hood and see the best upgrade of them all. It's an ultra-tidy and very polished presentation with a big block in the middle. This is a 396/402 cubic-inch V8 was borrowed from a later Chevy, and they did a terrific build when installing it here. It includes a Quick Fuel Brawler four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator, and Hooker headers feeding an X-pipe dual exhaust. It's a mighty powerhouse, and when you really want to bring the thunder, there's also a set of exhaust cutouts. And you are in full control of the power and high-octane soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission. The suspension has been full upgraded with tubular front A-arms, urethane bushings, and sway bars front & rear. It gives you confident control, and that's heightened further by power steering and power brakes w/discs up front.

Complete with owner's manual, this is an intimidating SS big block coupe that has the exact right stance and sound everyone loves. So we know when it looks this distinct, you know it won't last long in our showroom. Call today!!!
