Description of 1983 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

Lifted Chevy 4x4 Mud runner with 18-39. 5 x 16. 5" SUPPER SWAMPER TSI BOGGER. MONSTER floaters. dual front shocks & front and rear axle plates and new Turbo TH400 transmission and 400 High Stall converter (appx 1800rpms) we converted from 700r-4 trans). It has a 400 engine that was rebuilt by a engine builder in the Lubbock. Texas area (I do not recall how long ago) I traded a stock car for this truck last spring and it took till fall before we had time in my transmission shop. Fort Dodge Transmission. to work on it. It also has new gears in the rear end (locking diff) and bearings. We also re-freshened the transfer case at the same time. Truck has a 4 barrel and runs starts & runs good. Brakes need to be checked yet as they are as good as last fall. The windshield has a crack in it. I did drive it a bit though some wet areas on my farm last fall that my John Deere 4440 get stuck in. The Chevy Truck Floated through everything very easily. I believe the truck was mud raced in Texas many years ago (before any mechanical rebuilding) according to the previous owner. Tires have cracking in the tread and had had patches installed or liners. The front tires have hit on the back corners of the lower edge of the front fenders. Needs to be opened up more as they hit if you turn too sharp. Do have another set of 4 Michelin tires and aluminium rims that go with it for trailer loading or Highway. The Supper Swamper mud tires on now are a MUD TIRE only as it is squirrelier than a pet toad over about 35mph and lots of wheel hop on pavement. See pic of thread design and you will know why the are not made for highway. but perfect for mud! The truck also comes with 4 SPARE TIRES and RIMs for "Normal driving" See picture of Michelin Tire at end. They are three that are LT285/75R16 (1 of them is slightly smaller sized tire) I have only had them on the front for loading onto the car trailer. Not a show truck but still a ton of fun. Gets lots of looks for sure! This is a Texas Truck with ZERO rust. However pic's make things look better than they are sometimes and I would rate this truck as rough even though the pics make it look pretty good (Hood paint poor)Any questions feel free to call or text or email.
