Description of 1987 Chevrolet S-10

1987 Chevrolet S10 Blazer custom. 355 small block Chevy V8 with a mild cam and 4 barrel Edelbrock Torquer intake and carb. Headers and Flowmaster mufflers. 700r4 4 speed automatic transmission. 10 bolt rear end with 3. 42 gearing and Detroit True Trac Limited slip. Vehicle has been lowered. It has power steering and power brakes. Interior has been customized with a fiberglass custom shaved dashboard and leather seats. Backseat is still intact and folds down to open up the cargo area more. All original seat belts are intact and work. 17 inch Boyd Coddington rims. Paint is 2011 Mustang blue. LED tail lights and custom headlights. Here is a list of the new parts and work done to the vehicle by myself: new starter. new high flow mechanical water pump. new aluminum wide 2 core radiator. new dual electric pusher fans. new serpentine belt. new a/c bypass pulley. new front brakes along with wheel bearings. Detroit True Trac was intstalled by me and the rear end got new axle bearings and seals. new rear widow lift shocks. new rear tires. new mechanical gauges along with speedometer. new battery. fresh tune up with new MSD cap and rotor and ACCEL header spark plugs. new ignition switch. and lastly a new master cylinder. Runs on pump gas. Gets @ 14 mpg on the highway as long as you don't do 80. Runs excellent. I am getting rid of it because it was supposed to be a project for me and my 3 boys but they haven't shown any interest. FYI. there is no heat or a/c in the truck. Since there is a custom dash. it was all removed. There are a couple small things wrong with the vehicle. The wipers quit working shortly after I brought it home. I never did get around to fixing them. Not sure if it's the switch or the motor. The speedometer quit working not long after I installed it. Rather then fix it. I started using my GPS. I did put a new sending unit in for the speedo but had no luck. The paint is in good shape. A couple small blemishes but nothing major. I do enjoy driving it. Very smooth and not overly loud. It will leave rubber on the pavement from a dead stop. Get lots of compliments from young and old. Great vehicle for 28 years old. Not a lot of them around anymore. Great attention getter for a daily driver or Friday night cruiser.
