This is not a numbers matching car and I have no documentation to prove it was a true SS chevelle as the goal was not to build a numbers matching car. My goal was to build a 9 second pump gas street car on motor and 8 seconds on NOS. This car has been 10. 00’s @ 135MPH with a 1. 45 sixty foot off idle on motor with a tight converter and needing more gear. The car will run easy 9. 80’s with a gear change(needs 4. 30 gears for motor) and looser converter/trans brake being used. It runs 9. 0’s @ 151MPH on a 250 shot leaving off idle with a 1. 42 sixty foot time. The car runs 9. 30’s at 148 MPH on a 175 shot. Please know that the nos tune is set REALLY conservative with a switch that automatically pulls a lot of timing and there is an easy 8 second pass with a more aggressive tune(more timing/aggressive jetting) and nos controller to control the nos supply. This car weights 3780# without anyone in it and a half tank of fuel so it is not light and everything is there! I have all the receipts(about 5+ inches high/thick) and absolutely no expenses were spared and the car has only the best parts put into it. Basically everything on the car is new and I have listed the main items that have been put into the car. I do have videos of the car at the dragstrip and time slips along with dyno/build sheets for the new owner(s). I have taken it to 5 car shows this past Summer and placed in everyone including best of show several times. The car only has about 15 motor passes on it at the track and about 6 NOS passes for tuning purposes only. It has about 350 street miles max on everything and it is a true crowd pleaser and none sound/look like this one coming in. We did car shows. street cruises and the occasional drag strip for tuning/getting the bugs worked out his Summer and it is now ready to enjoy for the new owner.
