Description of 1973 Chevrolet Impala 9 seat

This station wagon is the perfect beach cruiser. It is a great around-town daily driver that will turn heads with it's custom rims. The roof rack is perfect for a surfboard. Grab all your friends. because it seats nine! Put all the seats down. tuck the tailgate into the body and jump in and out and hang out in the huge back cab. When you're ready to go. hang on tight. because the big block 454 with quadrajet carb will knock you back in your seat! Crank up the tunes with the CD/aux-in mp3 stereo. The engine runs great for all original. New carburetor. distributor. spark plugs and wires. belts. battery and cables. valve cover gaskets. As a '73. it needs 91 octane gas and oil additive (high mileage) to keep it from smoking on startup. but is EXEMPT FROM SMOG! It has been inspected by a professional mechanic. and was given a good bill of health with decent compression to keep it going for a long time. These big blocks are solid and you can load it up to the roof and it doesn't break a sweat! Transmission fluid is clean and shifts effortlessly. Power steering fluid is clean and steers effortlessly. Radiator fluid is clean and does not leak or overheat. Brake fluid is clean and breaks solid with plenty of pad left. The body and interior need work. If you are looking for a show-car. look elsewhere. Some seat belts don't work. but '73 only requires shoulder belts in the front and laps in the back. Body mechanics have all been cleaned and greased. Ignition switch and turn signal mechanics are new. Clamshell tailgate/rear window motors work great. Here is an example of how it works. I am so sad to sell it. but I need a commuter car now and have nowhere else to keep a second car.
