Description of 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

PLEASE ASK ALL questions before bidding!Item DescriptionUp for auction is a 1993 Chevy Silverado Truck that is being sold with NO RESERVE. The truck runs well and is driven daily. Body is in fair condition. The vehicle is equipped with an 8-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The interior is blue. The exterior of the vehicle is blue and silver. Comes equipped with various options such as cruise control. stock radio with cassette player. delay wipers. A/C. power windows and power locks. The truck has tinted windows. There is a sliding rear window which is also tinted. It is set up for towing and hauling. with front tow hooks. rear tow hitch. trailer brakes. extra heavy duty capacity springs and airbag suspension. The tires were replaced a month ago. so they are practically brand new. Truck does needs some work. Use it for a farm truck or buy for parts. The truck is twenty-two years old and has some issues common with a truck of that vintage. The exhaust will need repaired/replaced in order to pass inspection. May need front end work for inspection. a common problem with these trucks. The rear cab mounts will need replaced or repaired in order to pass inspection. There is a crack in the frame on the passenger side by the rear wheel (as shown in the last picture) that will need welded. The body is in fair condition with some dents. scratches and surface rust. There is surface rust on hood and roof of cab as shown in the pictures. The one outside corner on the cab had developed a hole and has been patched. The area above the wheels on the bed have been repaired with putty and just need sanded and painted to make it look almost as good as new. The driver's side fender right above the wheel is rusted through in several spots and will need repaired. The passenger side fender is just beginning to show a bit of rust and is not as bad as the driver's side. The inside of the bed is in good condition and is covered by a real nice bed liner. The gas tank does leak. but only if you fill it completely full. If you only fill it to 3/4 of a tank - it is fine and does not leak then. Truck has a/c. but it does not blow cold - may just need recharged - never looked into what issue was. Motor was re-built by the previous owner. Motor and transmission run great. however. motor has a slight oil leak. 4WD unit works. Speedometer works. however. odometer does not show accurate mileage. Odometer moves very. very. very slowly. Trip-odometer does not work at all. Transmission shifts hard when first put into gear. Was told by previous owner that this was due to transmission being over-built for towing. Truck tows well. Vehicle inspection for Pennsylvania is valid until the end of May 2015. Vehicle comes with a clear PA title and is located in the 15668 zip code.
