| 1967 Chevy. C-10. stepside. straight-6 250. 3-speeed manual transmission VIN CS147A100641 Wheel base 118”; length of bed 77” mileage : 116. 08When I bought it in 1977. the previous owner had put a rebuilt engine in it. so I don’t know actual mileage on the engine. Mileage on speedometer is 16. 08. I presume this means 116. 00. Has low-speed differential. Improvements over the years: Midas brake job; replaced front and rear shocks. front and rear coil springs . upper control shaft kit. outer and inner tie rods. U-joints (1999); replaced seat bottom and added seat covers; rug; whitewall tires; muffler and tailpipe; replaced rear window and windshield; replaced wooden bed with treated pine. stained and sealed with polyurethane and replaced channel rails. Repainted in 2000. Has not sat outside since. One area on the left rear fender has flaked. but the original paint underneath it still looks good (see photo). Recent scratch along passenger side door putting in garage. touched up but amateurish (photo). Some belt buckle scratches on right front fender (photo). I have ¾ quart of the paint plus dissolver. Some staining on whitewalls from brake fluid several yeas ago (photo). Does not have foot pad on accelerator pedal (photo). Improvements in 2013-14 to prepare truck for sale: new radiator and hoses; rebuilt carburetor from O’Reilly; new master cylinder; new bearing seal plus new brake cylinder. hose. and shoes on right front; new oil gauge fittings and tube; new condenser; new gasket on fuel pump; new fuel gauge sender; new gas filler cap; gas tank acid cleaned and resealed; new ignition switch. Shifts OK; will probably benefit from a cluster gear in the future; oil pan gasket leaks slightly. Please be aware. the gas tank is in its original position. behind the seat in the cab. Kits are available on the market to position a tank under the bed. Included: new set of front end brake shoes for one wheel. in box new turn signal. in box ¾ quart of paint plus dissolver spare tire original screw jack Has never been modified or modernized.
