| Restored 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. First year Blazer was ever made. Rarest of all '69-72 Blazers. New sheet metal and wiring throughout. Fresh paint in original factory blue. Non-Smoker vehicle. So much has been done to this vehicle it is hard to list it all. I have owned for it for 18 years. It was a daily driver for 2 1/2 years before it was stored in my father-in-law's garage. I started restoring in 2012 and finished this month. I have all pics of the restoration as it was happening. Not a full frame off but very close. Engine was originally a 6 cylinder but was replaced with a 350 V8 that was resealed. tuned up. and repainted. TH350 transmission was also resealed. It has the original NP205 gear driven transfer case that was also resealed. Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes and new Warn premium locking hubs. 12 bolt GM rear axle with drum brakes. All new rear brakes and the front discs and pads are in great shape. I just bought all new tires BFG TKO All-Terrain 32x11. 50x15 on silver rally wheels (including spare with original spare tire rack). Back seat and front buckets are original and I have Coverall seat covers on the front seats. I replaced the front seat belts and the rear are in good working condition. I upgraded the stereo to a Pioneer single DIN CD player with MP3/iPod inputs and added nice Pioneer kick panel speakers. The entire floor was professionally sprayed with black bedliner. This thing is a head turner everywhere you drive it. We love the full convertible for summer fun cruising. It also has the original white hardtop for winter and a black Kayline soft top for summer. It is stored in my garage and has less than 500 miles on it since being restored. I have only driven it in the rain once so it is very clean. Every other drive has been on nice days to car shows or to wash it since it has been restored. It would make a great lake or beach cruiser or just fun to take to car shows.
