Description of 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L-88 Wide Body |
| This 1968 Stingray has been 95% restored with complete suspension rebuild. new two stage. original paint code 988 Cordovon Maroon. new burgundy canvas top. new two tone burgundy/black vinyl interior. new 9 piece carpet set. the engine is a fresh sb 350 rebuild. new electronic ignition converted. new gas tank. Holley electric fuel pump. the car still needs to have the vacuum setup for the automatic headlight doors checked out. the lights all come on but the headlight doors do not pop up like they should. I have brand new chrome mirrors. year correct. missing some of the Corvette Stingray emblems. I have a set of new Cooper Cobra tires 275/60/15 rear and 235/70/15 front that go with the car on staggered 5x10 spokes rear and 5x8's front. The entire suspension including ball joints upper/lower. stabilizer bars and links front/rear. control arms and bushings. tierod ends. pitman arm and idler arm. steering box. shocks and springs front and rear. It has all new brake lines. master cylinder. nbsp;rotors and calipers (brakes need to be bled). new fuel lines. electric Holley pump and gas tank. The frame is in excellent shape! This is a wide body L-88 Stingray. not a flare kit. The engine is a fresh sb 350 (not original motor) new clutch on original manual trans. Interior dash lights all function properly and all exterior lights come on. however the headlight doors do not pop up automatically but they do come up manually. I do have both side pipe covers as well and the hardtop. The car runs VERY strong and can fry these oversized tires.
