1 9 5 9 Chevrolet BelAirHello your looking at a 1959 Chevrolet Belair 4 Door sedan. A very nice original 59 that has been well cared for. I am selling a collection of 50's & 60's cars these next few months as I can get to them. This one is for a gentleman that passed away last year. I knew of the car locally. seeing it at local shows. The original owner was a great guy that loved 59's. He always wanted this 59 to go to someone that appreciated the car after he was gone as he was quite elderly. The close family did not want the car. so the estate sold the '59 off and now I have the honor to sell the car that I saw and originally talked to the owner years back about. after all that has now transpired. I have been asked to sell this 59 as I do '57-'59 Chevrolet restorations and know 59's inside and out. This is a very solid 1959 Belair Sedan that can be enjoyed right away by the new owner. The car has 4 brand new wide whitewall correct Coker tires (no miles yet). and a complete front end redo in 2011 as I talked with him then. When I say front end redo. I mean redo. the front clip was completely removed and detailed and the hubs. spindles. brakes. A-arms. steering. were all attended to. The car was repainted original colors in 2011 and has Patina-ed since. as it is now showing. The sun has faded the paint to a beautiful satin copper gold color. Suntan Gold Metallic. This paint could be buffed out and color sanded. but it looks very original "as it is" now. with a Patina Satin Look. The main body is very solid and the only rust area found is some slight inner rocker flat panel that is very - very minimal and a small area at the very bottom tire carrier 3" x 4" which a small plate is in place. very solid carrier area overall. The main floors. and floor braces. frame and wheel houses. trunk floor are all very solid and sound! Front end body is super solid no rustouts in any areas. front fenders. headlight buckets. or headlight surrounds where 59's always rust out! Door seams and trunk seams and trunk rails all solid! (I call this a 95% rust-out free car overall. ) All stainless is nice and very straight. All glass is good and everything operates as it should. Am radio and wipers are being looked into to see if its a fuse or? Windows operate good. doors. trunk all shut good and lock. Rubber seals are very good. The Main Interior is covered over the original material with velour fabric. It is good shape. but a easy replacement original factory interior would make this car worth a lot more! Carpet looks original with the rubber Belair insert matting. Headliner is new and visors. Runs great. very quiet running car. with a three speed with original overdrive. This is a daily driver condition car. nbsp;it has some chips and dings from normal use and sitting for the last few years in storage. Could be brought back to small local show quality with very minor restoration efforts.
