Description of 1966 Chevrolet Corvair

This is a hard find and cars that are becoming more rare. My dealership owns the car but has been used for my own personal use the past two years. It is my first classic car that I ever owned and it has been a dream owning. The car has been very reliable for me and has given me no problems. Car always starts right up. My friend owned the car previous and he owned it for about thirteen years. He was an older gentleman and always kept it inside a garage as I always did myself. He did have car repainted and it is a metallic red but shows really nice. The owner before my friend and I owned it was a President of a Corvair Club in Tennessee. We believe he was the one that restored the car sometime in late 80's early 90's. The car does show really nice and people always beep or wave at you as your driving down the road. At car shows people always approach me and talk about the car and how they remember them as a kid. The car does have a newer style radio installed with cassette player. It also has original radio but only for show. The convertible top is electric and works fine. The engine sounds great and transmission shifts fine. The tires are in great shape and brakes also work fine. This is a great car for someone looking to own a cool classic car for there first time (Which I did) or someone looking to add this into there collection. These cars are hard to find and most of them you do find are pretty rusted out. This is a get in and drive car. I really love this car and its hard letting her go. I need space in my garage and that's why I am selling the car. Feel free to ask me questions.
