Up for Bid! This is a very rare car! Cream of the crop in its day! 1966 Chevy Caprice with matching numbers engine 396 V8! Car is a rare bench seat ordered car with 4 speed manual transmission. No console due to bench seat! The car has 12 bolt rear end. Factory tach that does work. Has power steering. Newer vinyl top installed. as well as all redone carpet. new seats all done like they were in 1966 that look excellent. Nice dash. headliner looks newer as well. Car has a freshened up engine that has been gone through and runs very nicely. I have seen only a few offered for sale with a 396 4 speed combo 12 bolt and they are very pricey due to the rarity of the cars being 1 of 300 in 1966. The car does need a little body work a few smaller dents. Car is all there and complete. All glass in good shape. car is extremely solid! I have had it up on a lift and I did notice the rear driver side floor pan has been patched. Other than that the trunk. rockers. frame. and body is solid with exception of rear quarter fender well on one side minor paint bubbling. The car has had the window channeling repaired already that was done by a very good body shop and very well done. Chrome is in mostly good shape. All gauges seem to work as well as the Factory Tach! The car does need a paint job and a few minor dents need attention. Once that is done you will have a very nice respectable driver that is one of the rarest old classics I have seen!
